PERSONAL COMPUTE. SHARED POSSIBILITY.

Vella

More computer.
When you need it.

Someone has an idle Mac.
Someone has work to do. We connect them.

Try the private pilot Starting with Macs. Built for a bigger network.

TWO SIDES. ONE NETWORK.

Keep your laptop.
Give the work more room.

Send a task to an available Mac, let it do the heavy lifting, and bring the result back. No new computer to buy.

Run your first test
  1. 01

    Choose a test

Start with a sales forecast using fictional business data.

  2. 02

Let the Mini do the work

Watch progress, memory use, and connection timing in your browser.

  3. 03

    Take the result with you

Download your report. Each job environment is removed after it finishes.

Remote work, not extra RAM installed in your laptop. Your files and apps stay on your computer unless you explicitly send supported inputs.

SMALL PILOT. REAL COMPUTE.

See a job leave your laptop.
See a result come back.

Our first test explores sales forecasts and downside risk across 12 fictional business scenarios. The calculations run on a host Mac, not in your browser.

BEFORE YOU TRY

Clear expectations.
From the start.

Can I rent or earn money today?

Vella is a private prototype, not an open paid marketplace yet. Invited renters can run the approved sales test on a prepared host Mac. Host earnings and paid rentals are the next stages, not live features.

What can I run in the pilot?

A batch of sales-risk simulations using generated inputs. You choose a 15-minute, 30-minute, one-hour, or two-hour window. Arbitrary code, private business files, and GPU workloads are not supported in this pilot.

What stays private?

Jobs run in disposable VM-backed environments with no host-folder mounts and networking disabled inside each job. This reduces access to the host, but does not guarantee privacy from the machine owner. Use fictional data only. Result files are retained on the host for recovery.

What if the Mac is offline?

The test entry stays available and explains when no host session is open. An active job can still fail if the host loses power or connectivity. Keep your original inputs; automatic job migration is not part of this pilot.
